Run What Ya Brung
Every once in a while you get to do something different. That's what this event is all about, and the making of the trailer was as well. Super-quick turn around, tons of fun and lots of energy. If you're into technical mountain biking and/or watching others ride some challenging stuff, then check this out.
Called Observed Trials, it's an event that West Virginia is putting back on the US map. Each rider gets to attempt the course on whatever bike they bring with them. Any bike? Yep. Seeing is believing (watch the video!) The course has some nice rollable features and the semi-finals and finals really step it up a notch.
For more information, visit the event registration page: https://www.bikereg.com/trials-in-canaan. And if you're in the area, then you might want to ride or watch the cross-country race on Sunday. Hint Hint: there's moon rocks involved!
Event director is Zachary Adams of RaceCanaan.com. Film by Victoria Weeks of Verglas Media. Music is Superdirt2 "Sarabande Electrique." Enjoy!
