ENERGY REVOLUTION
This Science On a Sphere (SOS) movie, commissioned by the Unites States Department of Energy, headlined the extensive U.S. exhibit at the United Nations' Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. The film highlights the ambitious technologies that the U.S. is pursuing regarding high-tech smart-grids and smart-buildings, along with various renewable energy sources, such as cellulosic ethanol and wearable, thin-filmed solar cells. And that's just a taste of what's possible, all of which could lead to better climate strategies for the whole planet.
Victoria Weeks worked as editor and motion graphics artist for this film, which was written and produced by Michael Starobin of 1AU Global Media. Standing out from the many other SOS films that the team has produced, this film relies heavily on graphics and animation to convey, in many cases, technologies that have yet to be fully realized. Pretty cutting edge!
